Today, we will be rolling out the directions for your NHD History Fair Projects. This is a big project that will students will work on over the course of the next two months. There will be checkpoint due dates along the way that students will need to meet, to be on pace to complete the project by mid January. Students can find information for this project on this website, at the page entitled "The Fair"
Opening Activity (Keep this in the Blog section of your binder): Today, we will begin class by reviewing a Prezi on the American Revolutionary war. Students will need to copy the T-charts on the strengths and weaknesses of the Continental and British armies, and take notes on the progression of the war. This information will be used to draw parallels between the war itself, and the capture the flag simulation that we will play on Thursday/Friday.
When we finish the Prezi, students will take a more in depth look at the "Topic" and "Research" parts of their NHD project.
Thursday/Friday: Nov. 17 & 18
